TONIGHT, Saturday, April 17th the North Carolina State Icepack will face the #1 overall seed the University of Mary tonight at 7PM Central, 8PM Eastern.


The Icepack are now 2-0 in pool play after beating both Providence and Davenport.
Tonight will be the Icepack’s biggest test of the week. They will face the University of Mary who is the #1 overall seed in the tournament. The Icepack is in a win or go home situation tonight as both teams come into the game at 2-0 in pool play. The winner of tonight’s game will move into the final 4 and the loser will be knocked out of the tournament. 


The Marauders defeated Davenport 6-0 and Providence by a score of 3-1. The University of Mary is the host of this year’s 2021 Nationals tournament here in Bismarck North Dakota and will be playing this game at their home rink in front of a sold-out crowd full of Marauder fans. This 1 vs 8 seed matchup will be one you do not want to miss. You can watch tonight’s game at HockeyTV.


The Icepack were able to overcome adversity in both of their first games after being in back-to-back dog fights with Providence and Davenport. Riley Johnson and Chris Solomon showed up big when needed and were able to push the Icepack to victory in both games. Griffin Hunt was a force in the Davenport game as he was making highlight-reel stops left and right while posting a total of 35 saves earning himself player of the game.
