Jorge Alves Jersey Retirement Night

In addition to Senior Night, the Icepack will be retiring #35 in honor of Jorge Alves.  Alves played for the pack between 2001 and 2003.  While with the Pack, Alves, the Stoughton, Ma native became the most decorated goalie in NC State history, having had a season for the ages in 2002-2003, capturing the following;

• ACCHL MVP
• ACCHL Playoff MVP
• ACCHL Goalie of the Year
• NC State Team MVP

Following his illustrious career at NC State, Alves appeared in games for five minor league teams in the SPHL and ECHL before making an appearance as an "EBUG" for the Carolina Hurricanes in 2017, becoming one of a handful of ACHA players appearing in an NHL game.
