Pack Take to The Road To Face Rival Virginia Tech

The NC State Icepack travel to Vinton, VA, to play the Virginia Tech Hokies this Friday at 7:30 PM for the Hokies season-opening game.
Icepack Captain Zach Herman, who posted a hat trick and an assist for a four-point game in the home opener last week, leads the team to the LancerLot Sports Complex for the Hokies season opener.  The Icepack, coming off of a 8-2 victory over the High Point University Panthers, hope to pick up their first road victory of the season against the Hokies.

Freshman Daniel Prazma looks to get a point streak going as well after having a three assist performance against High Point last Friday. Icepack players Brooks Willougby-Ray, Holden Koufman, Joey Gouveia, Nick Shook, and Nick Librizzi all recorded points as well in the season opener, and are looking to record more points against the Hokies.

This will be the first time the teams play each other since February 9th, which ended in a 4-2 Icepack Victory. Defenseman Trevor Kellogg, Forward Gavin Peduzzi, and Goaltender Ian Kee hope to lead the Hokies to a win in their first game of the season, as well as a chance to avenge their season ending playoff loss.  The game will be streamed on the Virginia Tech Hockey YouTube channel at  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yozH_ux0VFg.
