Icepack prepare for wagon wheel faceoff against liberty in back to back games

The Icepack prepare to face off against Liberty University’s M2 club team in back to back games, the first being tonight at Liberty at 9:30 P.M., and again at home on Friday at 8:15 P.M. The Icepacks home match Friday will also be the annual Pink the Rink game, in corroboration with NC State's Zeta Tau Alpha. 

    The Icepack are currently undefeated coming back from the winter break, with two massive wins over the University of Delaware this past weekend, as well as winning the Carolina Hurricanes Alumni game. One particular player who has stood out during this stretch has been Jake Gifford, recording a hat trick in the Icepack’s 9-1 victory over Delaware last Friday, as well as a hat trick in the 7-6 victory over the Hurricanes Alumni. Gifford, described by teammate Joey Gouveia as “A great guy”, currently sits at 26 points in 23 games played, with 11 goals and 15 assists on the season, including three game winning goals. 
    Both the home and away games this weekend will be streamed on ESPN+. NC State students who attend Friday's home game will also receive a free ticket to the Governor's Cup match on February 2nd at Lenovo Center.
