The Icepack is headed to the American Collegiate Hockey Association postseason as the Southeast 6th seed and #11 nationally in the final ACHA rankings release. With the sixth seed, the Icepack secured a bye and will need two wins in Evansville, Indiana, to punch their ticket to St. Louis. The Pack opens up regional play at 7:45 pm central against the highest remaining seed after first-round play on Friday. Games will be streamed on Flo Hockey TV. For the Pack, this is their seventh consecutive post-season appearance. NC State is one of four teams in ACHA Division 2 with a streak of at least seven years. The Pack joins fellow Southeast members Liberty University, Florida Gulf Coast University, and national #1 seed, Lindenwood University with that honor. The Pack will be joined by fellow ACCHL members Penn State (4), Virginia Teach (5) , UNC (11) and Rider (14). Future ACCHL Division 1 members, Kentucky (3) and Louisville (11), will also travel to Evansville. The Pack comes into regional play with a 6-5-1 record against the field and a 21-9-2 record overall.

The Icepack ended the regular season with a massive 4-1 victory over UNC Chapel Hill in the Governor's cup last Sunday, and now look to the first playoff game against Rowan University this Friday.
